Shandong Xianghai Titanium Resources Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xianghai Technology”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Lubei Chemical Co., Ltd. Together with Shandong Jinhai Titanium Resources Technology Co., Ltd., it constitutes the titanium dioxide business sector of Lubei Chemical. Xianghai Technology specializes in the production, sales, and services of chloride-process titanium dioxide. It currently operates a chloride-process titanium dioxide production facility with an annual output of 60,000 tons. This facility comprises main workshops such as chlorination, oxidation, post-treatment, along with supporting auxiliary engineering facilities.

Xianghai Technology has independently developed a group of professional technical personnel specializing in titanium dioxide. Through years of research, technical breakthroughs, and accumulated expertise, it has successfully mastered the core technology of chloride-process titanium dioxide production and resolved the oxidation furnace scaling issue in the oxidation stage, enabling long-term stable operation of the oxidation section. The company holds 2 invention patents and 10 utility model patents related to chloride-process titanium dioxide production. Utilizing the fluidized-bed chlorination process, Xianghai Technology enjoys advantages over traditional sulfuric acid processes, including shorter process flows, higher automation levels, lower energy consumption, and enhanced environmental friendliness, earning it recognition as a “clean industry.” Its main product lines include specialized types for high-end decoration, paints and coatings, plastics, and general purposes. These products offer excellent flowability, resistance to yellowing, stable color adjustment, and high quality, making them viable alternatives to imported products in high-gloss and high-covering-power industries.

During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Xianghai Technology will strategically expand the production scale of its chloride-process titanium dioxide facility. This expansion will lay a solid foundation for Lubei Chemical to build an environmentally friendly, high-end, and nationally influential large-scale titanium industry demonstration base, thereby promoting steady improvement in Lubei Chemical’s business performance and ensuring healthy, sustainable development.
